Why Senior Year Deserves This
This is the last year they still live under your roof.
The truck they saved for. The hoodie from the team. The look they get right before they say something sarcastic. That's who we're photographing.
A senior session isn't a school photo with better lighting. It's the one time we get to document a person exactly as they are at eighteen — the interests, the confidence they're still growing into, the car they're weirdly proud of, the instrument or jersey or camera that's been part of their whole identity.
In twelve months the bedroom is a guest room, the schedule is theirs, and the daily version of them you've memorized is gone. Parents almost never regret doing this. They regret the year they let it slide because things got busy.
So we make it feel good, not awkward. Two to three outfits, locations that mean something to them, real direction the entire time, and a photographer who has never once told a teenager to just act natural. Most seniors walk in guarded and walk out asking if we can do one more look.

What to Wear for Your Senior Portraits
A styling roadmap crafted for editorial results. Follow it as a starting point — we'll refine every look together on your pre-session call.

Bring 2–3 outfits: one editorial (a well-fitting dress, blazer, or statement piece), one classic (cream sweater, jeans, or a simple slip dress), one personal (varsity jacket, dance uniform, instrument, favorite jersey).

Fit is everything — a $30 fitted top will photograph better than a $300 top that gapes or bunches. Try each outfit on the week before.

Solid colors and simple textures beat busy patterns. Cream, camel, sage, dusty blue, blush, black, and burgundy all photograph beautifully.

Bring the shoes you'd actually wear with each outfit — barefoot detail shots are welcome too.

Get a fresh haircut 5–10 days before the session (not the day before) so it settles.

For hair and makeup: less is more. Aim for polished-but-you. Professional HMU is available as a $150 add-on.

Skip fake tanner. Skin should look like your skin.

Bring any props that tell your story: senior year jersey, letterman jacket, instrument, dance shoes, a beloved book, your car keys.

Parents are welcome on set. Many seniors also add a mother-daughter or family portrait set.
